Welcome to the Greater Melbourne Region!
While we're based on the Greater Melbourne area, we welcome members from anywhere else in Victoria, provided they do not have a local group. Our members come from Williamstown to Mallacoota and everywhere in between. For that reason, we aim to have not only physical events such as working bees and garden visits, but also online events such as meetings and talks that make it possible for everyone to participate.
Working closely with the Boroondara Cemetery in Kew, we are creating the largest collection of heritage roses in Melbourne. Our members are encouraged to collect and propagate our roses, keep some for themselves and bring back some to increase our garden. On our first month, we have already added 10 new varieties, with many more to come!
Our working bees at Boroondara Cemetery are every 2nd Wednesday of the month and, occasionally, on a Sunday.
